"Willing to travel for the rite door I like the ones that are hard to open at first till you break them in,keeping it well oiled is the trick. "
A tight front door is no use if the back door has been well smashed in... Seriously though I got a quote for a new front door and had to sit down when I heard the price.... |

If you don't know, now you know...
If you don't ask, you'll never know.
Not the way I'd ask but it gives me a giggle.
I'd imagine a couple of ladies will be jumping on a bus to go kick your door down with an offer like this OP, you'll be fine, sure you only post exactly whats on your mind, with no filter.

No joke I'm painting my front door tomorrow weather permitting.. Planning to use a weatherproof gel wood preserver whatever that means.. Is it OK to paint this over the existing paint on the door?
Any with paint knowledge |

"Mine started out tight but the year's of hard use has taken it's toll but a quick coat of Ronseal sorted it out but be quick it dries out very quickly "
The trick for best results is to have it really well smoothed out before you give it some oil. |

You should ideally give the door a light sanding and remove any loose or flaking paint, in order to provide a good key for the new paint.
Technically, you are providing a sound and dry substrate. |

Been a while unfortunately since Hal has knocked on my doors |

There are probably a few who have latched on to this idea and you might have a few knockers but I'm sure you can handle it. Maybe widen your search and don't let everything hinge on this particular approach. |

I'm thinking he has an issue with the word vagina and other such words and has devised a code that one must crack. I could be wrong though. |

That’s definitely close quarters swordplay. Quite a logistical feat too I’d imagine. Any gymnasts here? |

Handsome...how did you get that picture past the mods "
It's my hand, I've seen more obscure pictures on here.
I suppose my disembodied hand is akin to all the disembodied dicks in pics |

Sometimes the back door has to be tried and depends on if it opens or not is the question |
