"Australian meringue here but I'm def giving the Legsandcurves method a go next time
Ive heard of italian and swiss meringue...whats an australian meringue?"
It's basically everything in all at once - egg whites, sugar, vinegar, cornflour then add 3 tablespoons of boiling water. Mix on high speed...usually takes 5-7 minutes for it to firm up |

It died a death after a staff member caught fire in a hotel in Killiney in the nineties. Apparently hotels were using methylated spirits rather than brandy, as it was a lie cheaper. I think it has been lit and then just as the doors were about to open they sprayed more of it on for dramatic effect. It was horrendous. |
