Hmm.. not so sure I would fancy that on my phone. I don't think there are too many members around here (and even less using smartphones) Having said that it could surprise me 
Anyone tried it yet? I like gadgets but maybe that is one step too far?  |

I've tried it. But it keeps tellin me that my location is not available. Even tho i have turned on all that needs to be turned on. Tried it with wifi. . . . It seems to waste of time if ya ask me!!  |

I've an android phone that has GPS and all that, Thinking about it I don't really see what use it would be, as even if it does tell you another member is nearby they may not want to meet you (assuming that's what it's for?) Never say never and all that, I'll maybe try it and I can always remove it (also, I would imagine if you were not being truthful as to where you were you would be found out fairly quickly)  |

IE, 5 miles, 10 miles etc.
Doesn't give and address or exact location

So does then if you get this on the phone does that mean there will me no need for the "search members" on here any more for distance?

I've clicked on it when I've been at home, at work or even at the shops and after updating current location I've had people come up within a mile from me, but doesn't give an exact location.
Pretty handy if your looking something handy and don't want to go to far for it. But again it all depends on if you want to meet the other user and if they want to meet you. |

It works okay on my iphone but you have to enable the location services for Safari in the System preferences, I am sure android has something similar. But others have to be using smart phones too, so it is not going to show you the girl next door if she is on her PC.
But since a lot of people aren't into last minute spontaneous meetings its not ideal for everyone, but if your travelling in a large town and don't know the area and want someone to come visit your hotel room I could see that it might pay off.

Yes but does this app tell you which side of the tracks they are from? Might want to check the profiles carefully when on the train. |
