Hi all, I'm in Galway this weekend for drinks (Friday and Saturday).

Anyone have any good bar recommendations? Preferably outdoor

I love down the West Side of town over the bridge past the Garda station it's less of a tourist trap it's where the locals hang out. They have lot of the street closed off for seating Massimos is great for food down there Blue Note and Roisin Dubh two great pub they are all beside each other. The Front Door The Quays and Busker Brown in town all near each other but not sure how much outside seating they have no. Of course you have to go for the obligatory Supermacs!

Also woodquay has new seated areas but can be a bit wild. Salthill is also worth a look, some super restaurants and bars there, short taxi journey.

south

I was down there a few weeks back and it was hopping. Loads of seating out side.

I’m jealous, enjoy!

A swim in the sea at Salthill is the best thing for your appetite, x
