Naas which is South West of Dublin |
So we’ve all seen the treads on hairy v smooth, trimmed, shaved, back sack and crack wax etc., but what’s the story on armpit hair?
Is this falling into the manscaping category?
I’m not an overly hairy guy, and less in some places than I’d prefer… , and what may start out as a little trim can sometimes require the dustpan and brush to clean up afterwards, but just wondering about the auld pits, and trying to keep up to date with the current trends….
Thanks…. |

Don't do it lad be your own man. You don't need to follow any trends or fashion just do your own thing be yourself and don't fall victim to what some other are doing. |

A flea walks into a travel agent with a few quid to spend on a holiday.
The agent offers him a week in the Riviera with 4 star accommodation in Sophia Lorens knickers.
Two days later he's back to complain that it was too noisy and too busy for him and he needed someplace quieter.
Option two was a few days in Omar Sharifs moustache.
Next day he's back again and the agent is amazed. "What went wrong this time?" he asked. "You can't tell me it wasn't fun?"
"It was great to start with" said the flea, " But I fell asleep and woke up this morning back in Sophia's knickers".
Yes I know I'm showing my age |

It’s unnatural for men to trim their armpits. Why ever ? Hairy armpits can be fragrant and clean you just need some deodorant. What has the world cum too ? |

Cause it’s so “natural” for women to shave their body hair
Do what ya want with your body hair and if your partner doesn’t like it, that’s their problem! |

I don't mind armpit hair on a guy and I quite like chest hair as well it's nice to lie next to them and run my fingers through it.
But like others said do what you want with your body don't do something just to please others. |

I keep my armpits trim and tidy, I like my chest hair but will tidy that too once it gets untidy too and as for the rest of my body hair, well that gets shaved down to skin, never tried waxing tho |

I cut my underarm hair with a new beard trimmer that I purchased during lockdown; the next day I was in extreme pain, even though I had been gentle. Now I think I know what ladies go through to get the cleanshaven look! |

Manscape products all the way buddy, I never had an issue with them even on the scrote where previously I'd be sweating bullets |

Personally I'm amazed by the amount of people who are basically looking for a hairless ken doll. It's like they want boys who haven't hit puberty yet and it's weird.
I'm not really a hairy guy , I've got a beard and chest hair but the body hair is very fine and not a huge amount of it. I can understand not wanting to be fucked by a gorilla but expecting a man to shave off all body hair and even ARMPITS?! Just no. Get a blow up doll and a dildo you nut jobs hahaha!
Before someone who likes ken dolls get some their knickers twisted I'm just poking fun don't get offended. |

Similar to how some guys expect women to be as smooth as a girl…
If you like to shave, shave…if you don’t, don’t. |

It's really a mixed bag from what I have witnessed on here. And it's sad it's like many women say,
"ooh smooth shaved please and thank you or fuck off/jog on"
Or
"I like my men actually men so like it or luno it or fuck off please/ jog on"
Hard to please them all.
I will step out on a limb and say I recently shaved the pits, but purely to reduce the time of onset of BO. And it worked marvelously.
Maybe it's time we tell them to fuk off please/jog on. Ohh no wait the ratios are all off so that won't ever happen. Ahh well better bury it down deep inside we not even I can find it haha |

Soon males and females will be like a box of chocolates, you wont know what your getting until you get stuck in.
Even now, the new age blokes cant tell which jeans are theirs or the partners!!
What is happening? |

I actually always thought that having hairy pits delayed the onset of BO anyway as the hair moved the sweat away from your skin
Was it a big improvement
I tend not to sweat anyway so no problems but always wondered about guys
running and the sweat rolling off them |

Do as you please OP. Do not seek external validation through outside sources. You will be eternally at the mercy of society if you are willing to sacrifice your own authenticity for the sake of attachment be it to a trend/societal group/friends/family. |

Lots of people swear that the hair helps reduce the smell of sweat but I have to say I find the complete opposite to be true. I have had mine trimmed and waxed at different times and find it is much more comfortable and fresh feeling than full length. But that's just my view. |

Would you still use anti-perspirant. Id imagine it blocks your pores more effectively without a hair barrier.

Yes I do, to be honest I don't know much about the science behind it all. It's just what I find works best for me through experience |

I get all scientific about it A friend of mine years ago got a blood infection from using anti-perspirants, she fucked with the functionality of her body. I dont sweat much myself so its not an issue for me, but to be borne in mind all the same. Sweating has a function.
Much as I dislike it, its probably good for you.
Hope I havent gone on too much of a tangent, apologies OP |

Ouch, haven't heard anything like that before. Had she cut or grazed herself shaving or anything like that or was it just absorbed through the pores. Either way it was a tough break.
It could have been sprayed on too close or too much either.
Sorry, im not trying to blame her either, I'm just thinking and typing at the same time.....
I don't dose myself in the stuff anyway just a light mist.

Have yis seen the price of hair removal at clinics these days?
Just from me alone they could keep the lights on and pay Christmas bonuses to the whole staff.
Lol. |
