In my humble opinion Blur are one of the most boring bands in the world...2 or 3 songs thats all
Oasis were one of the best bands in the world and would love to see them getting back together one day
Saw them live in Slane,Cork and The point a few times and they were amazing |

Will have to agree to disagree but my interpretation of a band is everyone pulling together and having an input in the music, lyrics, direction and releases. I think we can all agree that oasis didn't do that.
I did see them live and tbh they were no different to a good pub group as in they never really experimented and stayed with the easy sale with made the gig stale for me and some of their fans who were there too |

Sometimes I'm happy to admit that bands I didn't like back in the day have grown on me now and I can appreciate them better.
I can't say that for either Blur or Oasis. Still can't see the appeal of either. |

Definitely Oasis- for me they defined the genere of Brit Pop along with The Verve. I always saw the commercially successful Blur as a band that just followed musical trends, rather than creating their own. |

Emmmm Blur's 1st 5 albums were all completely a different style to the other, in fact their most successful album was the great escape which they wrote as a piss take to oasis etc at how easy it is to get the sheep to follow.
I like the verve tbf but they really only came alive to the mainstream in late 90's due to urban hymns.
The real bands that defined that genre were stone roses, pulp, suede and the charlatans but that's just my opinion and I was wrong once ![](/icons/s/2/halo.gif) |

"Give me Suede or Pulp all day every day!
Definitely
Jarvis is a legend
Agreed, although I really should be liking his solo stuff more than I do at the minute "
His'n'Hers and Different Class are exactly that, a different class. Im a huge fan of Jarvis and Brett. |

I've brainwashed my teenagers on 90s music the other day I heard the Blue or Oasis argument in the back of the car and they did finally decide on Pulp! |

My go to Spotify playlists is basically brit pop era but sweet jesus I hate that term.
The music of Pulp will never age I don't think. |
