Unblocking profiles

Have you ever unblocked a profile because something on the forum has redeemed that profile to you ? Have you ever gone on to meet a previously blocked profile ?
Have you ever been blocked then unblocked and gone on to meet ?

I blocked one person one day because I was in bad form and they said something that annoyed me. I later decided after more time engaging with them on the forum that they were sound after all and I unblocked them. Unlikely to meet them, given the distance between us, though. |

Not a chance.
I don't block just for the sake of it.
Some are blocked because we have nothing in common and i don't want to see them or their inane status updates every day.
Others are blocked because I simply don't like their forum personas or their obvious trolling.
Regardless once they are blocked I forget about them and move on.
I haven't been proven wrong yet. |

Blocked one person for continually mailing when I politely said I wasn’t interested.
I later unblocked them after a forum thread suggested second chances. A few weeks later I received the same sort of emails so blocked again. |

We held an amnesty a few months ago and gave everyone a second chance. Our block list had been huge. We ended up basically blocking the same people again for similar misdemeanours  |

After reading this thread I’m thinking about an amnesty as spoken about above. I’ll then move forward using the private notes. I hadn’t known about them before and I feel I might have a few accounts blocked just on a trigger happy block fest. |

Only once as when we blocked him, he was only new and just a tad over enthusiastic at first. But, the more we got to see him converse and engage in the forum then the more we understood it was him just finding that balance and he is a decent guy.
Apart from that, nope.

Yes, but they has us blocked,Meet at a party looked up profile when they said who they were told and we were blocked but made no comment about it,they unblocked us after and we hadno idea why they blocked us?

Do love the notes why we block, it does help,people block for different reasons

My block list is a mile long. I can't remember reasons for most but there was obviously a reason at the time. I'm very fond of the block button. And Fab is big enough that I don't need to unblock anyone from there for any reason, plenty more fishies in the sea  |

Never blocked anyone. I could see the appeal if it blocked their forum posts but even then it would be a very rare occurance. I don't get constantly harassed with messages either so really never any need to block. |

I have done this too and had good chats with the person since and will hopefully meet for a coffee at some stage |

Blokes go on my block list generally for continually messaging after I've said I'm not interested. Or if they send a d!ck pic. Or.. and especially thos one- if they have sent a message to which I don't reply, and send the exact same message a few weeks later.
And they will never be unblocked. |

Unblocked someone once because they were going to the same m&g and I didn't want to look like a dick.
Had to block them again a few months later as they kept flooding me with unwanted messages almost daily.
Never again will I unblock anyone in future.
People block others for good reasons. |

Those that have earned a spot on my blocked list are there until hell freezes over lol
Do I believe in second chances… yes…. But it’s the repeat offenders that definitely deserve to be there  |

I have unblocked on a couple of occasions. Has ALWAYS been a mistake |

I was blocked because I had no verifications after 8 months and was told I was a catfish....i set the profile up and forgot about it...8 months later I tried to sign up and it said i had already registered so I filled out the profile this time around
Still blocked though haha |

Choosing to only see posts by people you haven’t blocked would be a useful feature actually "
Some other forums allow this but it's not great really because if really interrupts the flow of a thread if comments are missing |

My block list is practically non existent but those on it will remain there for a dam good reason! Hence - no.
I wouldn't know who's blocked and subsequently unblocked me...hence, I'm not sure  |

some people block because of people's opinions views on topics. I have seen many people in life in person get on who have different views. only true way you know and get to know a person is one 2 one chats. have even in the past see people on here say they'd never speak to people and have them met at meets and greets and got on great. |
