i travel all over

So playing table tennis With My daughter , she is keen to chat to the two kids playing on the table next to ours . Their parents are nowhere to be seen. Should i as a dad do introductions? Well an adult male talking to unsupervised children just looks terrible so I leave it . Would be much easier for an adult female to do IMO

somewhere

Its standard practice in line of work now

If I find a lost child at a gig and I'm on my own the first thing I do is ask a female customer to stay beside me while I radio it it

A female member of staff has to ask a male customer

It's the way things are unfortunately

Coaching kids soccer team. You have to think of this stuff at all times. Worst bit is a kid gets injured and you feel like you can't help him up and stuff. Gone crazy but in training its necessary for both sides.

Yep.

World gone crazy.

I used to teach kids boxing and just before I packed it all in it got even worse.

Glad I don't work in that environment anymore.

Op I'm a single dad of a girl I feel your pain.

Belfast

It wouldn't bother me. It's all about perception and how you conduct yourself in general.

Might be different if you were on your own or if the child was injured and you had to lift them but if you are with your own child at the time i don't see the issue.

Awk if your there with your kid i wouldn't think twice about it. Hey could x play with use is all you need to kick-start chat between then and get your girl involved.

Def be conscious of what you say and how others may interpret things but don't let it stop you. I always try and get my wee man involved with other kids at the park or encourage him. If ppl are there with a child I dont think much of it and keep yours within eyeshot
