Last March, I bought a kettlebell online.

Today, I took it out of the box.....

It's progress, right?

Think of all you can get done in the next three months. Maybe you can move it from one side of the room to the other.

I think you did very well. I intended to buy a bicycle training stand last winter, never ordered one, anyhow there's always a next winter.

Everyone has to start somewhere! Bought some weights at the start of lockdown and used them for a bit then fell off after a while, its hard to stay motivated on solo workouts especially.

Gyms back open is great but honestly just getting moving is a good thing and go at your own pace if you find some form of exercise you like it makes keeping it up alot easier. Spin classes is a good one as you can meet others and you stay motivated during group exercise!

Thanks to my dog, I'm pretty much walked every day, need to do some strength training to avoid losing muscle mass/bone density at this point in life

No idea, I dismantled the box around it as opposed to lifting it

You could bring it on your dog walk. Real life strength training

I was listening to a podcast that had mcgregors(not a fan) trainer John Kavanagh on it, and he gave a great bit of advice when it comes to training, “win today”.

Setting a 3 month goal means you have to wait 3months to see if you win, but if you can go to bed each night or the majority of nights saying I won today, you’ll eventually see results but aldo be happier along the way.

You can't spot reduce fat. Diet is the key to losing body fat.
