South Dublin

Rory Gallagher, Freddie King, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, JJ Cale, Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters, ZZ Top, GnR,

Pick one of those and we've about 35 more

I think you're having us on. Doubt you were in the Wembley crowd for 16 hours on a very hot July day in London age 9

Never really heard of him before he played in concert here

Worked 6 or 7 of his concerts and was blown away

He had a presence and a spirit that I've never seen in anyone else .

I still listen to his live in Dublin cd every week

Where the Streets Have No Name

U2

(Yes, I know that many "hate" them (and Bono)....especially on these shores..?).

For me, they're just a deadly, consistent 4 piece with an amazing back catalogue.

But I gave up arguing on their behalf years ago!!

It's okay with me if you're not into them. It's already hard enough getting tickets as it is.
