Being a lover of the more curvy female figure, and as a somewhat curvy figure myself. Im just wondering if there is much of a following where women lust after the bigger boned fellas, personally I love every shape and size, but those extra curvy ladies just do it for me |

As a plus size lady myself I tend to be more attracted to those who also have curves.
Well to be fair if you've a good personality and the banter is good, and we connect to me that's more important

"I've experienced faaarrrrr more fetishisation from men who like bigger guys than women, so either women are just less likely to do it, or they are far less outspoken about it."
Or just less likely to see a person as a fetish rather than just a person.
Fat women, in particular, experience a lot of fetishisation so I think we’re less likely to do that to another person. There will always be exceptions of course.
For me, it’s about the person and whether we click, not their body type. I’ve been with very slim guys and with big guys and I can’t say that I prefer one over the other. |

Well in fairness there are plenty of women with BBC fetishes and such, but I'd agree that, at least with bigger people, men are more likely to fetishise a big person than a woman would.
Not to say having the fetish itself is bad, but ignoring the person as a whole and only focusing on the fetishised quality isn't ideal, imo |

Just as many women play into the fetishisation as men.
You just need to see the amount of profile names or profile bios with BBW included in it |

I'd be fascinated how you've come to the conclusion that women play into fetishisation as much as men.
Apart from BBC I can't think of anything else that is a popular enough fetish for women. I could spend all day listing some of the stuff off for men.
In terms of porn consumption, it's vastly done by men, if you look at the purchasing of sex, again, it is vastly done by men. |

That’s true, a lot of people do play into it. I think sometimes that comes from a sort of wanting to find your tribe thing…I can’t find the right words for what I’m trying to say
But anyway…all bodies are good bodies especially when the person inside them is good craic |

I think he means playing in to the BBW fetishisation by identifying oneself as a BBW in a username or profile text. |

If you read the thread and my comments again you might see that we are discussing size fetishisation specifically. And I've said why I think so.
But in a broader sense I see plenty female and couples profiles that also play into themilf/cougar dynamic too.
I'm also not saying it's a bad thing. Just that it's not solely men |

Agreed its why all of those labels grate on me in general tbh.
But I dont think it's fair to generalise that women are less likely to see people as a fetish. |

I think both men and women are equally capable of having a fetish related to body shape or colour etc etc, but men, 100%, are the ones more likely to actively fetishise a person based on one physical aspect, simply because men are, as a broad generalisation, wired to be more physical and visual, and women, more mental and emotional.
But, ofc, outliers exist! |

I had been assuming that it was a reference to women fetishising men's traits, like bbm for example, rather than you referring to playing on the fetishisation so that was a mistake on my part.
I can understand why women play into the role as being a target of someone fetish though and realise it's not that rare.

The BBC fetish is also something created by porn, which is for the most part created by men. Just because women enjoy it doesn't mean it came from women's desires originally. A LOT of what women desire is influenced and driven by the desires of men, on some level, even though we genuinely enjoy those things. |

That's an interesting thought, I get that completely. Life as a women online is so contrasted from a mans, we forget ourselves at times.
Being a chubby fella growing up and finding confidence in my self now, I sort of just want to flaunt it and be with someone who loves themselves and there body. Whatever form they cum. |

I was with a girl once from here she was really cool, she rubbed my belly and said she really liked it, that i had a total dad vibe and she digged it, I was always a bit self conscious, this made me feel like a million bucks afterwards, so I dunno about fetishising or preference. I was just thinking that was a nice body positive experience, wondering to myself how common this was with women |

That's some real talk, lots of the things we have come to enjoy have been developed sub consciously from the media we consume. Then again if we were to go down the psychological route of fetishes well we would need several different threads. THICK THIGHS SAVE LIVES folks |

In my younger years & when starting out in the lifestyle I admit I was attracted by the bodies.. guilty of judging the book by the cover...but experience has shown me its all about the personality, it really doesn't matter what body, (slim, athletic, curry, or fabulous) the personify is wrapped in, if you don't click with the person it's never going to happen. |
