Good topic Op. I'm often happy to send the first message if the profile intrigues me even if they are new or unverified. Some of my best meets have being from me taking a chance and reaching out first. I'm confident enough to know what I want so I'm never too shy to make the first move  |

I'd say about 95% of the time and I'm terrible at it 
Pretty much every time I send that first message I'm like "what was I thinking" or "Well that's shit" |

I prefer to wait for a message, Or a wink to let me know theres interest. I try to avoid sending messages as most ladies complain about the volume they receive. Not always, but mostly.
So theres probably others of the same view. so go on, send him a wee message! |

Absolutely! I've sent first messages because of something that piqued my interest on the Forum, be that to just chat about opinions on something. Or because it's a profile which caught my interest...possibilities
I personally don't look at winks, and would rarely use winks to get someone's attention, though I have done it.

Exactly the attitude I like, I know women who wont make the first move because the want the man to ... Men are slow on the pick up ha ha... We need it obvious! |

Received a first message? Very rare.
Received a first wink? Yes. Then responded with a message which is left unread .
So question for the lady's. We follow the rule no response means not interested. Does that apply for unreal messages? |
