Given the horrendous price of houses in this city the scope for choice is limited. But location is always key and price reflects the quality of the location. Better a shoe box in a nice area than a house in a dodgy one. If you can live with reduced space it might be a better option long term and in terms of resale value. I have personal experience of this. Lots of decent people in Finglas (I come not far from there) let down by a few. But those few have the capacity to make everyone's life a misery, including yours. Imagine if it didnt work out and nobody would buy the house off you? Seems a big risk. On balance I'd hang on to your hard earned cash if I were you. |
