Google it and add crime, drug or murder as keywords and you’ll see

City

Depends where you are from. Know a girl who moved to hear there and had the car burnt out on the drive way for being a "posh bitch".

Why did they deem her posh? She was born on the southside of Dublin

Wouldn't buy my lunch out there never mind a house. Better value, more choice and nicer areas to be had outside of Dublin

Dublin South

Given the horrendous price of houses in this city the scope for choice is limited. But location is always key and price reflects the quality of the location. Better a shoe box in a nice area than a house in a dodgy one. If you can live with reduced space it might be a better option long term and in terms of resale value. I have personal experience of this. Lots of decent people in Finglas (I come not far from there) let down by a few. But those few have the capacity to make everyone's life a misery, including yours. Imagine if it didnt work out and nobody would buy the house off you? Seems a big risk. On balance I'd hang on to your hard earned cash if I were you.
