At the weekend on the beaches at Crawfordsburn and Helen's Bay, some of the sunbathers' and swimmers' outfits were so minimalist as to be nonexistent, but I was only peeking, NOT perving. Honest!
NI is such a puritanical place that if the bible brigade heard a beach had been formally designated as naturist, they soil probably picket the place!
There are probably isolated informal naturist gatherings, but you would have to be a trusted member of their group. |

There's a dip in the nip coming up in September on the beach in Portstewart so that might open people's eyes as to how many like going nude on a beach
Theres a place on strangford lough near Newtownards where naturism is carried out
