Lady's as the sun beats and u change to summer dresses or tight white t-shirts with either skirts or shorts maybe even yoga pants and a guy passing u in the street says as he passes wow u look stunning or maybe even just mouths wow as he passes
Do u say thank you or do u ask what are u looking at, is it easy to accept a compliment from a passing stranger or do u take offence
Does it make u day a little brighter or does it raise concern |

You'd never get me skimpy dressed as I'm a vampire
However, there's a building site next to me and coming home from the gym the other morning all sweaty in my vest and leggings I could hear the lads talking about me on the scaffolding. I don't think they realised how far their voices could carry.
I flapped the bottom of the vest a bit and motioned a come hither as I opened my front door.
One of them lost his footing and nearly fell |

I think it would depend on the tone…there’s a big difference between a sleazy compliment and a nice little comment.
A few weeks ago, a girl stopped me in the aldi carpark to compliment my outfit and it was honestly the loveliest thing. However, if it was someone staring at your cleavage/ass/legs/whatever while complimenting, that would certainly be uncomfortable. |

did she mutter it under her breath
Ah sure if a compliment is delivered in a friendly way I'd take it every time
I'm prone to giving a cheeky wink or a smile ...and that includes women |

I think after the year or so we have all had, a little compliment goes a long way if delivered correctly.
I try and do something positive or complimentary every day now, it's good for my soul too. |

Would make me walk faster in the opposite direction to be honest. I'm in my own personal bubble, minding my own business not bothering anyone. Last thing I want is some complete stranger to comment on my cleavage or tightness of my jeans.
Although I do appreciate as well as often pay complements to people I'm already interacting with. |

I'm actually a bit astounded that there are people who still think this is OK.
It's not OK to intrude on a stranger's day to make a comment on their appearance. |

I have to agree, very much depends on the tone. Unfortunately it's very rare its not the sleazy compliment sort that makes me want to run....
And I'm not painting all the men with the same brush.... |

I'd hate it. I actually hate being leered at by men. Not to blow my own trumpet but it's always been a problem for me, especially when I was younger and frequented bar/nite club type places. Thank god I'm old now and avoid these places like the plague |

Wouldn't that be classed as sexual harassment.. In the times we live in hypersensitivity is rife.. 1 persons compliment is another person's insult.. Some might take it very well others will get offended even frightened.. Best to air on the side of caution and say nothing.. |

We all see people we think is beautiful, but in this day and age, it's best to keep it to your self, no point risking it you could make them feel uncomfortable, I was in a shop and the lady in front of me had a really beautiful face and looked amazing, but no chance would I say anything to her, as you just never know how she would take it, we all can enjoy hand cuffs but not when the person putting them on is reading you your rights. |
