It is a good idea to have a party mate. Some single ladies may want to go to a party but find it daunting because they do not know anyone at it. And it can be the same for a single guy but probably to a lesser extent. Attending as a duo who are comfortable with each other would be some peace of mind so go for it OP. |

yes, this is exactly my thoughts. Obviously you would have to like each others company and have a coffee and a few social meets first, but it would work both ways
