The Peter Sellers classic comedy from 1960:
Two Way Stretch,
closely followed by another Sellers classic:
Only Two Can Play.
The first is about a planned heist with the perfect alibi, that Sellers is in jail.
The second is where he's a philandering librarian, chasing everything in a skirt, who having sown his wild oats, settles down with his devoted wife, who, in real life, suffered from a severe bout of post natal psychosis just after the film was released and tragically ended her life. |
