Today is the 1st of July. The mid point of the year.

How is everyones year going so far and what do they hope for the rest?

I've had all vulnerable family members vaccinated so recently returned to meeting after a long, long year.

The bleakness at the start of the year has definitely been replaced by shining optimism.

The futures so bright I gotta wear shades. Well, cause of that and the hay fever.

Its been a half year so far of loss and gain

Some small pleasures, and some pain.

I hope the next 6 months will be

Just lots of fun in good company.

somewhere

After 17 months one of my jobs is about to open again on Saturday which hopefully leads to more work later in the year so more optimistic now than on January 1st

I do sometimes wonder what posters as a group might be like together in a pub . I suspect this thread’s gang would have a laugh for some reason

It's good to see everyone looking up.

As for everyone meeting in a pub, will outside it do?

I spend months looking for forward to July being played on radio and I’m floored with chest infection!

Mundy played a genius card there.

Instead of going for the crowded Christmas song market he picked a month with no competition and guaranteed airplay. Hats off too the man.

Oh my my my my, De-cem-ber, would never have worked anyway.

Greyhound skirt, subtle relates to a very short shirt and very close to the hair (hare) as in being chased by a greyhound!

We'll take it as it comes.

I love the lazy, hazy vibe that comes with July and August.

Everyone slows down a bit and the nights are hot and sweaty.

Like a Fiddler on a hot tin roof.
