Hey folks. Just wondering if anyone has noticed an increase in random “oh by the way we charge” profiles? Been on and off fab for years and whilst it did exist before it seems much more prevalent at the moment.

I have had several instances of “let’s take this chat to kik/WhatsApp”….followed by oh it’s 100 euro to meet.

Not sure if these profiles should be reported/outed (personally I haven’t) but I would fear that potential to turn nasty especially if face pics have been swapped during “normal” preamble chat.

Its a case of " come into my web said the spider to the fly "...who knows what type of animal is in this jungle until you come across them....then it could be too late as you said especially if face pics have been sent.

Agree with the others, report them.

We wouldn’t be in their target demographic as we are a couple but have notice that the offers of money for panties and dates that we get (not that we are even remotely open to that shit) is a bit more common lately for whatever reason. We generally respond with a polite fuck off and block

I think it’s the potential backlash from reporting them and their profile being removed. Especially if they have established trust and have face pics etc.

Block and report OP to get them off the site.

Someone organised a meet on Thursday and when he got to the area he was asked for money

When he refused his real details were posted by the fake on her profile before it was deleted

It'll cut down on that crap if the accounts get deleted by admin if everyone reports them

Responses to single male profiles few and far between at the best of times….so add in risk of it being an escort pretending to be a swinger….

The one on Thursday night was 24 pics looked fake to me, I've watched too many episodes of catfish lol. She had a cam veri. Now I can't remember who the guy was.

It's perfectly possible that there are those who accept and pay for the services offered, who are happy with the service, and who then verify.

Judging by the amount the profiles that message and offer to pay for company then this could possibly be very true. I guess each to their own.

I reported one last week that asked for 50 euro through the messages on fab so seems like fab were able to take the profile down because of that.

50 euro would be a cheap hotel so in a way I can see why some would be tempted and how they could get verifications from happy customers.

I had the guy from a couple ask for money before through whatsapp as well to see his girlfriend and when I declined he asked to just meet me without her and without money. I'm Bi but nothing about that conversation sat well with me :-

In 4 years here I've never seen any profiles looking for money and never had a message asking for any incentive at all so I'm more curious about the demographic of those targeted.

Might be a newer thing targeted at profiles with no verifications. They probably don't expect much luck with more established profiles. Or my profile just comes across as desperate
