My first ever visit to Northern Ireland.......

......arriving on 8th October and leaving on 11th. No work it's all for pleasure. I'll be staying in Belfast and taking a trip to Newcastle to conquer Slieve Donnard. So, if you fancy a beer, a chat and yes, some physical pleasure, please do drop me a line. All boundaries fully respected.

October will be fine too, the marching season (such as it is this year) is around the summer. You'll be fine in October.

Could be different now but Irish history wasn't taught in most NI schools either. I studied history to o level and the only mention of Ireland in those 5 years was in relation to policy following the Liberal Landslide in the 1906 election.

I learned more watching Michael Collins

There’s that many tourists in the North now over July and August I wouldn’t even worry about it. As long as you are over for the craic you’ll have no bother!
