A couple of weeks ago we made arraignments to meet a FB of ours in a B+B that he had stayed before. He arrived and paid for the room and when we got there he let us in we went to his room and had our meet about 3 hours later our FB gets a call from the owner asking if the room was for 3 or for 1.My question is do you have to tell the owner that you will have other people visiting or is it none of their business once the visitors don't stay the night which btw we were not staying |

Id imagine your friend won't be allowed stay there again
Usually you follow house rules which includes no guests into your room
If it was their house I'd imagine ye were lucky not to get a knock on the door |

Reminds me of the episode of the Young Offenders where the B&B owner was waiting in the room for Jock & Conor to make sure there were only 2 staying the room … as they were reassuring him Mairead was banging on the window to try and get in …. Great show |

They wanted more money.LOL. |

There's probably an insurance issue as well. I'd imagine only registered guests are insured,.. Fire safety probably requires the owner to know who is in the rooms, and car parking.. Cars parked without permission might not be insured. I could never be comfortable in Bnb..I prefer a hotel. |

Hotels are your best friend for swing antics.
I personally recommend a large chain hotel where the employees generally don't give a fuck what's going on, provided you don't make life hard for them.
A number of hotels also offer triple rooms for a similar rate to a double. |
