I don't delete winks so I've been able to check back and I've had a grand total of 5 winks this year but only responded to one because I don't tick any boxes in their profiles so I've no idea why they wink in the first place.
I've taken part in the last few wink threads and have yet to get a wink through any of those from someone not already in my friends list. As an experiment last time I winked every single woman and couple in the thread and not one of them responded. |

I noticed a new thing
I get a wink off a woman that has nothing in common with me and I have nothing in common with her
Then I realise she's on the first page of the hot photos...so she's gone to the trouble of winking 100's of men to get noticed and get the fabs

In the past a couple of winks have lead to some great meets. One was a wink I received from someone I had chatted to previously but lost touch with and the other was one I sent to someone whose profile and attitude I liked 
I don't really look at winks anymore though for some reason I don't know why I stopped looking because they can be handy to see profiles you may not have seen before in saying that I just looked and I have gotten 2 winks in the last day. |

Winks are not something I look at, I even say so in my profile. Still get about 30 a day though. I reckon if you like the look of someone just send them a good message, a bit of effort can reap many rewards. |
