I'm not hugely into pub going at the best of times but it will be good to see businesses to be allowed get things started anyway and I think we should support them any way we can.

key words, time to get on with things. thats the bottom line. chances are we're going to have to deal with more and more variants. open up, let people live their life and get on with things.

I could not care less about pubs; but I empathise with those who earn their livings from owning them or working therein.

I was in a restaurant and pub at christmas

Fairly sad night out it must be said..joyless

Hopefully things improve

Just in connection with the hospitality industry

Absolutely no sign of gigs being allowed or even test runs

Not in any hurry to go to a pub but I will support local restaurants and hopefully a few nights away in hotel or two.

It'll be very interesting to see how much a pint us going to cost once they do open up? Pubs are their own worst enemy sometimes

I supplied the licensed trade for 25 years and watched the entire industry I was part of destroyed partly by legislation but mostly due to greedy publicans who demanded more and more profit every year until there was literally nothing left to give and the industry folded.

I don't drink so it doesn't really affect me if they are open or closed and although I do have sympathy with individual publicans, I don't sympathise with the licensed trade in general because of their own greed in the past.

I miss the social interaction in pubs so I will be back as soon as they reopen. Ok there are going to be lots of regulations but its better than nothing.

Same as that, miss the social interaction and banter from being out. Will be back out in a heartbeat.

Only apprehension would be, don't think I'd be drinking out of glasses seeing as how they are rinsed,

Bottles by the neck from here on in for me....!!

Looking forward to a session but dreading the hangover. I have enjoyed life more without the allure of pubs. I don't think they will ever have the same draw for me anymore.

You certainly could, but it wouldn't be the pint that would be attracting me.

I'll be heading back and being an grumpy old lady I actually prefer keeping to my own pals and having table service, rather than battling the masses!

Appears to have been promising results from the test gigs in Liverpool, but I haven't found the actual academic paper yet, just news reports.
