I'm tempted to go.
I've always been in the 'No Freddy, no Queen' camp and I'd rather that they called themselves May, Taylor & Lambert or something (it's not even all of the surviving members of Queen, as John Deacon retired years ago). BUT - having said that, the clips I've seen of this line-up onstage do look like a lot of fun and it may well be the last chance to see Brian and Roger play all the hits. |

"Seen them last time. I was fairly sceptical about Adam Lambert, but he was actually class. The Darkness supporting them were also amazing "
Yes we missed it last time as sceptical about Adam Lambert as lead but after watching the documentary he sounded and looked amazing |

The Darkness are a great live act. Perfect match for Queen, too. |

Lucky enough to have seen them live with Freddie a few months before live Aid in Dublin and also with Adam Lambert singing
Yes its a different experience but its very enjoyable
Your throat will be very sore afterwards because you'll be singing all night
There's a documentary on Netflix if you want to get an idea of what they're like live |

One of the things about Bohemian Rhapsody that annoyed me was the portrayal of Live Aid as a comeback for a band that had been apart for ages. I think Roger Taylor even said 'we haven't played onstage together in years' during the rehearsal scenes. But in fact, they'd just come off the massive tour for The Works and they were a well-oiled machine. I mean, I get dramatic licence and all that, but it just felt like a silly contrivance for the sake of it. |

The reason live aid was a big deal for them to do nd the truth was left out of the movie was because queen had played sun city in South Africa nd alot of others were mad at them for doing it ,,, BBC 4 have a far better life story about queen even better than the dreadful movie |
