Now that lockdown is coming to an end, and looks to be the last of them.
Do you think you'll come out of it a better person, and take more things for granted?
Certainly think I will. Going to appreciate being around friends much more, and make and effort to do something different each week.
Curious to hear your thoughts
Note: I know these lockdown threads can be annoying, but I felt this was a little different. |

I don't think I'll be different if I'm honest OP.
I've had a few changes in my life in the last month or so but my core character and traits will remain the same.
There might be a little more appreciation of certain things initially but I'm pretty sure that will pass quickly |

I think we'll forget this all very, very quickly.. No mind wants to stay in a traumatic period. The new found appreciation for certain things will fade I fear. |

I won't change you I am but I've learnt a lot about myself over the last year and I'm going to be saying no to a lot of people and have realised how many toxic people I had in my life |

Being a single self employed mom of two teenagers whose business was decimated by covid its the first time in my life ive had to b reliant on the state and had to struggle week in week out..ive never known before the reality of many of being cold cos i couldn't afford oil or having to tell the kids there was a power cut cos i couldnt afford to feed the meter for a day or two...its defo made me reasses frivolous spending and a new found zeal to build my business back up now things are reopening |

I'm hoping it'll be a long time before I take for granted simple physical contact with loved ones and time spent with friends, but I suspect eventually the memory of the past 18 months will fade.
If you look at the level of community spirit and reaching out to help others in the first lockdown compared to the same time this year, it's like night and day and I imagine the majority will slowly but surely revert to how things were before, however that looked for each individual. |

It's been both good and absolutely awful for me.
Good:I lost 2 stone in weight due to walking every night something I wouldn't have done if we weren't in lockdown.
Bad:I lost my Dad because of this horrible virus. |

This makes my heart sore. As a small business owner with kids this really resonates with me. I'm sure you will give it absolutely everything. |

U can never have too many curves and on a more serious note hope the anxiety eases with the return to normality |
