And to reflect the effects of the pandemic lockdown, an excellent film from 1952, starring the ubiquitous (at that time) John Mills with Eva Bergh, Peter Jones, Geoffrey Keen, Laurence Naismith, Thora Hird, John Stone, Vida Hope, John Glyn Jones, Ernest Clark, John McCallum, Elizabeth Sellers, John Shaw, John Chandos, et al.
Film: The Long Memory!
The film concerns a man who is wrongly convicted of murder, spends 12 years ruminating in prison and upon release sets out to clear his name and expose those who framed him, including his former fiancee, who lied at the trial, and then married the senior investigating police officer, played by John McCallum, who devised and produced the famous TV programme: Skippy (the bush kangaroo), that was set in Australia.
