I’ve had a car issue for ages but zero time or money or knowledge to sort it out. One 20-second rant to my lovely pal and he sorted it for me in a coupla days.
Mad some people don’t think you can make proper mates on places like this.  |

There’s a couple of fabbers that I count as close friends...known them a long time now and know they’d be there to help if I was in a pickle.
I think sometimes you can be more open with people you click with here than you can vanilla friends and that helps create a strong bond. |

I was told by another fabber that people here aren't your friends and I'm glad to say that's untrue. I'm glad to say I can call a few on here good friends and one or two very good friends. |

A lot say people on here you can't make real friends but like others who have commented on here I don't agree. I've made some amazing friends from fab and who I consider to be true friends in my life outside of fab also . |

Some of my best friends are people I've met through fab and even though a lot of them are no longer on here we still keep in touch both individually and as a group.
There are friends still here that I trust completely and who have helped me through difficult days and I like to think I've done likewise for them. |

I've made lots of people I would call friends. A lot have left the scene but we remain friends. |

Definitely don't believe you cant make good friends on here. Am still close to people I met 12 years ago. Sometimes the friends you make here can become closer than the ones u had in real life. |

I’ve made lots of lovely friends from here, you can find friends anywhere in life though I’ve found it harder in my 20’s and early 30’s I think it’s starting to get easier to make new ones as I get older.
Maybe it’s the mindset as you age |

I have helped a couple of people with things over time on here but I would only really call someone a friend if you have actively met in person and get to know one another alot. I look at helping out someone on here as just been nice and doing them a favour if I can |

I have to agree that you can make great friends here. They know a part of you that your other friends have no idea about. Apart from that I just like having them around me. |

Luckily I have known for a while that I have some very real friends here and as someone who has had a lot going on over the last few weeks. They have been there for me through it all and continue to check in and offer any help they can. I would be lost without them. So you can absolutely make some very genuine friends on fab. |

Yep. Seriously just thoughtful. He had the knowledge base that I didn’t and put in some time. It’s a small change but a huge difference. |

The first person I ever met off of here, I have been friends with for almost 8 years now.
Many a times we have chatted into the early hours of the mornings about any and all topics or giving advice to each other on problems. |
