Disturbed or Simon and garfunkel, it pains me to say it but disturbed does it better and I feel dirty inside having to say that but fem half was right and now I have to say it lol
If you haven't heard disturbed covering it, you should go to YouTube... Or alexa or Google home or whatever lol |

I have tried several times to give Disturbed version a chance, but I dispise it.
I feel he just sounds like a moaning whinge bag at the start. And what's with his screeching towards the end?
Just listened to it again now, and yeah, I still can't stand it. I dont think the tone fits with the message of the song. Love the S&G version.

After Attending the Def Leppard concert Himself spotted a poster for a cliff richard concert and ( I’m embarrassed here for him ) and said I wouldn’t mind going to that  |

I think it depends on how you came to the song in the first place, I grew up with the S&G version and love it, when I head the Disturbed version I actively detested it.. although recently I've come to appreciate it a little more the originals haunting beauty will always hold my heart. But I can imagine if you heard the Disturded version first and then sought out yhe original it might sound a little twee.. |

Used to hear the Simon and Garfunkel version when I was younger but its disturbed that I always play and hear more now. |

The original is one of my dads favourite songs . For one month solid i heard thst song being played over and over again on the journey home from visiting my mum in hospital. So much so I wanted to rip it out of the cassette player in the car and break it . I think I prefer the disturbed version and that’s saying something. |
