Hi Guys
I asked this question before, but answers where fague. After speaking to our Gay friend today. We are still no wiser.
We looked at profiles after looking at ours, we came across TS and saying straight. What is straight. If you have meat & 2 veg. Straight to female? If TS has Tits and female looks.
Confused???? |

Op
You need to ask yourself if you count a fully transitioned woman as a man or a woman
I presume you think that a TS with a penis is a man even if they identify as a woman
Maybe I'm wrong but a TS that identifies as straight wants to meet woman
I'm also a bit confused to be honest

"We are all confused, I don’t want to text a person to give the wrong impression. If straight, why grow tits and look female "
Arent we supposed to accept other people as they are??
If you dont like it,then look elsewhere. Surely plenty of many other possibilities for you to get enjoyment out of this site,no ??

I am by no means an expert on this but my take on this is the person that transitions does so because they have never felt like they were born as the gender they believe they should be.
That does not mean they cannot be straight eg a male transitions to female and wants to be sexual with a male would be my understanding they are straight.
Now please correct me if I have this wrong that was just my understanding of it |

Confused also
Eh perhaps the forum would be a good place to explain the whole TV/TS in a relatively non-toxic environment.
The transgender movement is a real hot button, polarising, shout the loudest, culture war issue on other social media platforms so if biases/ignorance’s could be explained without a pile on, we could all probably learn something
I’m probably being a bit naive here.... |

Perhaps if people could ask questions in a sensitive empathetic manner they'd receive a better response |

Why do people expect others to educate them? Go do your research from a reputable source if you are genuinely interested and not just looking to rise people.
Transawareness.org would be a good place to start |

In my opinion why should a TS who has straight on their profile have to explain themselves to anyone... If its so confusing Google it or simply move on from their profile. Do youse as a couple feel the need to explain yourselves or your profile?!!! |

I’m not looking to rise anybody at all. I don’t know where you picked that up.
My point was that like any other group of people trans people are not homogeneous. I thought it would be worthwhile getting info from the horses mouth rather than explaining to other people what the story is, particularly when i’m using the internet for info. |

My comment about getting a rise wasn’t aimed at you, apologies for not being clear about that as I was quoting a comment that happened to have quoted you. It was aimed at the OP.
Given the incidents of transphobia on the forum in the past, I’m not sure if there will be many members of that community willing to expose themselves to the usual comments in order to explain the nuances. If there is someone willing to take it on, I hope the trolls stay away. |

Straight is when you're only interested in the opposite gender, when you don't identify yourself as bi or gay.
Ts stand for transgender, means the gender they identify with differs from the sex that they were assigned at birth.
A straight ts person that identifies as a woman is only interested in men. A straight ts person that identifies as man is only interested in women.
It's not that difficult! You just have to make some space in your head, it seems a bit narrow. |

This was the gist of my explanation when they posted about it before. |
