Is this the way to ..?

A guy who used to work for me turned up as usual one morning and I sent him off to the North coast.
This was in the days before mobile phones. Two hours and 100 miles later he rang me from his first drop in a panic.
His pregnant wife had been staying with her mum for a few weeks. He has forgotten she was going in that morning to be induced and he should have asked me for the day off.
I ended up driving to her mums and taking her to the hospital.
He made it back just in time for the birth |

"Looking for a mask already on my face as I get out of the car towards the petrol station
I forgot to put one on the other day and only realised it when I got loads of dirty looks. "
In fairness most people know when someone's genuine about it and acting the bollox about it |

I am an incredibly forgetful person.
I forgot to empty the bin on my way out to the supermarket. Remembered when I got back from the supermarket just now.
While at the supermarket I realised I lost my parking ticket when I went to get it validated at the checkout. Thought it was maybe in the car, it wasn't. Went to the terminal, the fucker tried to charge me 17 euro for a replacement ticket so I went BACK into Tesco, found the ticket... but had forgotten my receipt in the car. Had to go back to the car park AGAIN to fetch it so I could get the ticket validated because as that staged I was fucked if I was gonna give them 2.70.
Last week I went into the living room to fetch my water bottle from the side table by the sofa... while walking past I noticed the cat had knocked over a basket that had a lint brush in it... I lint brushed myself, the ottoman and the sofa and then went back to work... and remembered I needed my water bottle...
It's a constant struggle to be me |

"I came in here to do something but haven't a clue what it was.
What was the last thing you can remember forgetting?
"
... what I went upstairs for.
It's a daily occurrence at this stage of my life. Mrs |

Cork Dry Gin is good for forgetfulness.
I totally believe that to be true, because I once bought a bottle, tried it and always remembered never to touch the fucking stuff ever again. |

"I'm constantly going upstairs and forgetting what I have gone up there to get only to go back down then remember and go back up again. It's very annoying. "
That's exactly what I do, retrace the steps, works every time |

"That’s a bit of an oxymoron, if i could remember what I forgot then I wouldn’t have forgotten it "
Having said that I regularly forget where I’ve left my measuring tape, some days I swear it’s grown legs and run off, the next 20 minutes spent frantically searching dam thing. |

In that case you should retract that last statement |

I have 2 putty tats here who spend all my allocated sleep hours jumping in and out of my bedroom window which means at least 4 times a night I have to open the door to let them out of the bedroom until they forget why they came in and promptly jump back out the bedroom window onto the roof outside to sit crying until I coax them back in. All this done for 2 seperate cats every night means I never fet a proper sleep |

We have our cats in most of the day, sleeping and eating usually, then put them out at night.
That's when they can hunt the rats n mice best

I forgot my bins every week through march! I rely on seeing my neighbours bins out but because I'm not out to see them I always miss it. Finally remembered this week when friend messaged me to remind me |
