Its not the acute or immediate effects of the vaccination i am worried about its the longterm contraindications which are still unknown. The pharma companies are currently running thier longitudinal clinical trials and the side effects may not show up for months or years. If the vaccine was on the market for 3 years and proven reasonably safe i would get it in a heart beat. But as it stands i would be too scared. Just think thalidomide , i know drug validation has come a long way since the 50 & 60s but .......... |

Thalidomide affected children in utero, if iwas a pregnant mum i would be cautious with untested drugs for sure.

Astra a few weeks ago and was a little poorly - initially shivering, nausea overnight, following day lethargic, I broke out in a rash and had flu like symptoms - achy muscles and running eyes.
Lasted a couple of days.
No sore arm though, so every cloud!  |

As a parent myself as someone who work who's has a master's in childhood development and early learning amongst other things the mere mention of any connection between any vaccine and autism just isn't there. I have read countless journals and court cases centering on the topic and none have ever proven even the slightest connection.
I work with children and adults with mild to severe learning disabilities and I can understand how easy it is to be offended with any mention of the topic. I ask if you are offended by the dismissal of the vaccine connection or the mere mention of autism |

Had 1st Pfizer shot 2wks ago. Nothing but a sore arm.
A huge group of people im associated with have gotten the Astra Zeneca in the last few days abd a huge percentage of them are violently ill. 2 have been admitted to hospital with severe vomiting and dehydration.
Also I think the long delay between some
of the different vax is a pain. |

Had my first AZ shot, about 8 hours later I felt like I had a full blown flu for ten days with a pounding headache. I had to pop back for bloods a covid test (because I work with young adults) and then out of nowhere all side effects just vanished. Not pleasant at all but I will still gladly get the second booster shot. No one else in work had any side effects so it just depends on each person I suppose |

My daughter was diagnosed around the time andew Wakefield investigation, as you can imagine them years 98 99 it was worrying times as he was saying the rise in autism had escalated so high in the past twenty five years previous as to when I believe the mmr was available. You want answers as to why it happens and could it be a link. My knowledge has obviously grown much more since then but when the prime minister of the U.K. took his son to France for the jabs that obviously caused such a concern too he didn’t feel the vaccine is safe in three in one and had done separately. Look 24 yrs on I have as much knowledge as I need to know that the vaccine wasn’t the case for my daughters being on the spectrum I’m not against any vaccine my daughter only yesterday had her jab, she not feeling the best today. |

The dire consequences of getting Covid or a mutation from abroad motivated me to get the Pfizer jab in Belfast, as soon as I was eligible.
Long Covid is also best avoided, if possible.
Vaccines have been a boon to mankind; conspiacies such as the plandemic, connections with Bill Gates, George Soros, Bilderberg group, Trilateral Commission, et all, that are promulgated by David Icke and others, need to be silenced or at least sidelined.
I had minimal side effects and look forward to the second jab.
It is worrying that the rollout south of the border has been very slow, potentially enabling mutations to spread exponentially.

He single handedly caused a drop of up to 70% of MMR vaccinations at one point using. His studies were falsified to such an extent that he was struck off and will never be allowed to practice in Europe again. He also operated on children almost killing one in an attempt to prove his insane theory. Unfortunately back then the media saw clickbait and people bought into it and no doubt countless children died as a result. I have read a few peer reviewed studies and not a single one has shown any link between the two.
I hope your daughter feels better soon and I can understand any worries you might have. Parents have every right to be concerned, it's just what we do but there are some antivaxers here who should be called out for the bullshitters they are. |

yeah he took off to America, with his claims as far as I know even tried to set up clinics not sure if he succeeded. Thank you not been great today it seems to have effected her stomach and very tired has slept the whole day but this little bit of feeling under the weather with her being vaccinated is of huge relief to know she be safe |

As a parent of an adult autistic female i didn't reply as it is a very touchy subject for me. I can totally relate to the above. What i don't like is the remarks about autism seen on numerous threads only to hear that nothing was meant by the remark. If thats the case, don't say it then. It's not a joke when you're knee deep in it and nothing seems to be going your way, being overwhelmed with constant dread about your childs future. Enough of the remarks, it wasn't funny when we got our disgnosis 18 years ago and it most certainly isnt now. |

2 friends of mine in USA had their last vaccinations last week. 1st shot was fine but the second shot they where really unwell for 2-3 days.. she struggled allot and had night sweats, high temp and aches and pains "deep in her bones, and going outwards into muscle" himself had lesser problems but definitely was under the weather really low energy.. both have recovered now.
Not looking forward to it, but I'm sure will be fine. |

Got first vaccine last night, of course I feel like I’ve taken covid all over again. High temperature, body is aching, pressure headache, so weak. Got worried at one point today, thought I’d end up in hospital again... |
