Sorry for your loss, I truly am, I too have lost more than one person close to me.
This most was not made or intended in the manner to which you have taken offence.
I used the word sacrifice in the posts heading as it was extremely topical.
The radio has bouncing with stats and discussions today about case numbers and people not following the rules.
The majority of citizens in this country make a daily sacrifice by adhering to the rules, sadly some don't and cases continue to rise.
I live in Leitrim, 1 case a day for the last 7 days.
Other parts of the country people are carrying on as normal and the cases keep coming.
The talk yesterday in the media was do we lift sanctions in the "good" counties/regions and "sacrifice" the areas whith bad compliance/ cases and leave them in level 5??
I mentioned Dublin firstly because the cases are high and secondly and most importantly the real reason for the joke, inter county rivalry.
Before anyone jumps on me for Dub bashing, I grew up beside Dublin and most of my friends are Dubs
We all make sacrifices everyday during this pandemic and too many of us have lost loved ones, we are all just looking forward to better days

I genuinely couldn’t believe how bad it was, i love most of the small towns outside of the pale. passed thorough it a few times on the way back from Mayo and it always looked beautiful around the lake. Stayed for an evening in the big hotel out near Drumshanbo which was lovely but had the misfortune of a stag there a few years after. Awful spot.
