I had less than zero interest in either Wanda or Vision, but actually got drawn into WandaVison and loved it.
How does Falcon and Winter Soldier compare do you think? I dunno if I'm gonna bother watch it yet |

"Absolutely hated wandavision but watching this straight after the quiz "
Really?? I loved how cheesy and silly the first few episodes were, but I think that's the very reason most people disliked it. |

Marvel Universe is a big draw in my house with the Disney +, best thing is my daughter loves watching. So something great for those Pop and Daughter TV windows.... even if it’s in silence... sharing a viewing of a show is great.
Can’t wait to see this one. |

Was told on here to keep at it after I gave up on episode 2 so started 3 and skipped to the last 20 mins of episode 9 to see what happened and realised that even though I watch endgame every 2 weeks i dont care about Wanda and vision

That's fair enough. It's very different from anything else the MCU have released. I loved watching every week and trying to see what tv show from the next decade that they are parodying. There was a Malcolm in the Middle episode I though was great. |

The retro episodes were what peeked my interest, when it caught up to present day it’s wasn’t as interesting for me. |

Thank you for starting this thread Devine! Lol
I thought it would be good, and even then it exceeded my expectations. The action and effects were great, the tone was perfect and it offered a new perspective on the MCU.
It was movie quality Roll on episode 2! |

Yeah that run time is a bit excessive the original plan though was to make it two movies so I plan to watch half tonight (along with Falcon and the winter solider) and half tomorrow |

Watched last night.... I think it’s building to an excellent plot line.
Now tempted to let the weeks roll by and not watch another in order to watch several at a time.
Amazon the world of watching TV is so different .... ahh sound like an old codger there.
As a divergent topic... on Netflix there was a reality/doc about becoming a porn star... Seffredi... some Italian porn star bloke... watched 10 mins with the good lady, thought it may open a conversation a little... nope.

"Finding this very “meh”. It could easily have been a 2hr movie"
I thought that last night, there's only 6 episodes and it feels like they lining it all up for a big showdown, but than what? |

Last night I couldn't decipher if it was a comedy or if I needed a therapy session myself. The new captain America?? Oh merciful heavens above, what were they thinking he looks like a super geek in a mask. And what's this with super soldiers popping up all over the place. Did tesco have a special on or are these the cheaper Aldi/lidl super soldiers that look the part just just can't cut the mustard when things get tough.
Look I know it's a mini series but they are letting themselves down |

Enjoyed it as part of the continuation of the characters unlike wandavision
How is the winter soldier just a normal guy now that people take the piss out of
Bit of cop racism throw in and captain america looks like he left his false teeth out when he puts on the face covering
I'll watch it till the end |

Wasn't sure about the show after first two episodes particularly as there are only 6 episodes in this show.
However the introduction of Zemo has given it a much needed boost. Very good character |

I personally feel the week to week drop of the show is hurting the flow, I feels like this one should be more like a six hour movie or binge watch but this is a Massive improvement in the episode quality even if the show still has some strange plot points. |

I'm liking the weekly drop as its our Friday evening treat, dinner and phones off and watch it.
Really enjoyed tonight's show too. |

Oh during lockdown the weekly drop gives u something to look forward to, but like episodes don’t end in cliffhangers like a week to week show should, yet aren’t disconnected enough like say the mandalorian where is doesn’t feel like it affects the show flow. And the original intention for the show was to be dropped at once before c19
But tonight’s episode much better, only two left. And then Loki |

"So what did we think? "
I felt that the end of it was a bit rushed and the flag smashers storyline wasnt given enough attention.
There was more time spent on fixing the boat.
Wyatt Russell was so good as Walker. |

I went through WandaVision, and although I see the benefit of the story to be told to set the stage for further events in the Marvel Universe, I find the actress extremely weak for the role, and those Red/Crimson Witch story line a bit forced, which is a pity, cause in the actual comics she's pretty solid.
But the usual Hollywood shenenigans is spoiling it...
So I kinda cringe at the idea of starting on the Falcon & Winter soldier |

*rolls his eyes so far backwards he can see his own brain now*
I don't mind people of non-pale complexion having lead roles (like, why wouldn't they) but I swear some of these actors and story lines are just pure nonsense!
Maybe I am too 80/90ies, but give me Eddie Muprhy, Carl Weathers or hell, even Wesley Snipes! Tha guy that played Jax in the most recent reincarnation of Mortal Combat has more if a presence and charisma then Anthony Mackie, despite all the pushing they are doing to make him popular |

It stirred more then a few yanks when falcon was handed the mantle of captain America in the comics to be fair |
