In perusing profiles this morning we were both struck how the name can make us inclined to like a profile more (or less). How does a handle affect your inclination, if at all?
If we were (by way of a straw-man example) to see a profile with the name stinky-couple, I think we would steer that pair a wide margin |

The aim of the Digicard is to try and calm them down and prevent them tipping the big load too fast |

I've to admit it does have an impact, it's kinda like an appetiser of the person and if it doesn't sound tasty it will be dismissed on that single bit of info. Superficial judgement? Hell yeah of course but it's the fab meat market and first impression is crucial. |

That's interesting since your username is em, interesting Can I cheekily flip it around and ask have you ever put anyone off with your chosen moniker, to your knowledge? |

I would pass on a profile because of the name. It might be that their name makes reference to what they are looking for and I don’t suit those requirements so why bother them.
Or I could find the name crude or vulgar and again this would turn me off looking at a profile. |

Not that I'm aware of, quite contrary it often triggers good banter. But it might well be that some were put off, so be it. You see you can never please everyone even a names like 'GoddessofLust', 'orgasmqueen' or 'pleasuremuse' can put some peeps off. There is though some obvious slip ups around that can easily be avoided by not leaving the marketing responsibility to your genitalia.

I know what you mean OP... not given it much mind but ye the profile name of MrsBucketMcLooseLips probably wouldn’t make me want to look into that profile too much alright... |

We held a meet and greets in a night club in temple bar a few years ago, and had the list of names and as people came to the door I had to ask people their usernames. For a laugh I used to ask the ones with more sexual names to speak up as most would wisper their name when asked. It's all fun and games picking "clunge buster" as a username until you have to say it out loud in front of loads of people sober |

Sometimes trying to get a profile name is hard. Most have allready been taken. I actually have a giggle at some name choices. Some are cheeky and others are just a no thanks |

Some vulgar names or avatars definitely is an indicator to me to keep distance.
Its also depends what kind of message it is. I have asked a few times to change the avatar to keep the interesting conversation. No problem at all.
Some of the nicknames are really funny plus the bios and photos visible on profile. No problem to send a short message what I think about their profile.

"Seems pretty universal then, thought we were a bit odd but I guess we're entirely normal
Nothing odd at all about ye...
Thanks, maybe we're just normal compared to other fabbers "
Normal name... normal chat... sexy pics and vids if I do say so myself.. if that’s normal , I wanna be normal... |
