Bliss Attack

I just heard this expression, someone referring to a 3 minute pop song as a bliss attack, their 3 minutes of sunshine!

What non-sexual thing gives you your bliss attack - your minutes of sunshine.

For me its playfulness with kids, that living-in-the-moment uninhibited fun.

Definitely a few songs that I love to dance around to when noone is watching.

Funny dog or cat videos

Hugs from nieces / nephews

where the wild roses grow

A few things,

The look of excitement from the dogs when they see me appear with the hurl and a tennis ball. Game on

The 1st immersion in the pool before I go for my swim.

The smell of cut grass and wild garlic on a sunny day

Doing something I've never done before. I also love being scared. Not sure why.

Also spending time with my nieces and nephews, they're the best!

"It's been a but the sound of a dump valve still gets me giddy"

Quick research tells me "A blow-off valve (BOV), dump valve or compressor bypass valve (CBV), is a pressure release system present in most turbocharged engines. Its main purpose is to take the load off the turbocharger when the throttle is suddenly closed."

The sound of bliss lol

My favourite part of the week is when my 15 yr old son watches a match with me on the telly

We usually end up on the couch with him leaning up against me and talking shite sometimes

He's the last one still to do it so its precious to me

Ah, I'd say that's just from whenever it was recorded off telly. I had to watch that twice! Dont make ads like that anymore

Sitting in the morning sunshine with my coffee while the dog and cat scuffle playfully for attention beside me, and the only other sound I hear is birds singing and a breeze rustling the leaves on the trees.

Laughing so hard with friends that you feel your gonna pass out.

My daughter cuddling in, and falling asleep on my shoulder.

A really well timed joke in a sad situation that lifts the mood.
