What makes you reply?

I asked in an early post what wouldn't make you reply to a message...now am asking what would make you reply to messages...

Most folk...would rather they didn't get "hey" "hi" "hows you" " hows fab treating you" "fancy a shag" open one-liners .... so what's the best message to get your attention? Asking for a friend or a few thousand men on fab lol ??

What makes me reply?

Basic courtesy most of the time. Some messages just make me roll my eyes though.

See the hi messages dong bother me as such. I'd sooner a quick hello than a message saying what they want to do to me.

As caseylee said its courtesy, I will reply even just to say thanks but no thanks.

I reply to most messages except the ones that are obviously scams

As long as they're polite they get an answer even if its a no thanks

Any text makes me reply haha has to be really weird for me not to give a response. This question was probably aimed at couples and women realistically though.

Anything that is witty, funny, intelligent and engaging then I will always respond... The first whiff of arrogance or lack of engagement and I'm gone

As I've just said on your other thread I get virtually no messages so it's not something I really have to consider.

I'll reply to any I do get because it's polite to do so.

We reply to almost every message we get regardless of who sends it. The small few that don't get a reply will have sent something crass. Manners will always get a response

Usually if the woman texts first haha, but. If it's a one word reply or opening i wont. If a person has read your profile and opens with a comment/question on it then it makes me smile and gets my interest

Although I’m inundated with lots of messages from females from the hi fancy a £&@/ to the pictures and the old favourite I’m in your area. I always reply to see how the conversation goes, if conversation flows easily, if there’s click, mental stimulation and I smile.

Something thats a bit witty, that refers to the two of us instead jaysus your missus has a fine arse

A few messages did only refer to me and my tats but they were polite so i replied. Dont need an essay long message but i try to answer all messages even if its to say no thanks

Don’t get too many messages from women or couples but too many from men

. Any messages I send I try be polite and ask a question or 2 and a few compliments.
