It’s definitely a good start.
There are some online sex questionnaires you should try together. You both fill it out (tick the boxes) separately and then at the end it gives you like a to do list of things that you both said yes to and it ignores anything that one of you said no to. MFM is one of the options.
It’s actually how we got started.

I think you could try and introduce it again. If you get the same reaction I would ask her by saying something along the lines of....when we were playing earlier and you were sucking on the dildo and then me is that something you enjoyed? Would you have liked it to have been another guy?
And see what she says! If she gets offended you can say in a nice way obviously that I'm only asking as I thought maybe it would be something you would like to try but I get that you just got caught up in the moment

Try not to put pressure on her by showing how excited you are either.
I honestly don't see why she would be offended but if she is then as PleasurePrincess said this approach gives you an easy out.
