I watched almost all 5ye episodes so far and yesterday I read an article that claimed the Irish were too polite to make the show work in the way the producers would have hoped. In the end it just looks like they're having a casual conversation. I suppose it's better and more respectful when people sit and listen to alternative views and then react calmly and respectfully. I still feel like an English version of this could make for better tv. |
