Not gone on it unless I know the person and they have a habit of saying it. But blocking someone because of its a bit extreme

Nit a big fan of pet names. Especially from people that I don't know personally and some can be very condescending (e.g.Kiddo . But like already said. Blocking because of it is a bit extreme.

They're not offensive, just irritating when it's a total stranger. Why use endearments with people you don't even know?

Don't really care, once it's polite, and not derogatory ! I'd be comfortable asking someone not to call me 'x' if I don't like it, and expect them to be big enough to respect that.

middle of nowhere

I'm guilty of using pet names. It's more of a habit than anything else.I tend to use sweetheart and chick a lot. If I offend anyone by these names let me know so I can call you fuckface instead.

A friend used to use the word "pet" for everyone. I seem to have picked up "doll" somewhere along the line

Hell

I'm not offended by pet names but I don't like over familiarity from men I don't know.

I really can't stand "mmmmmmm" in a msg though. I don't know why but it just creeps me out.

Somewhere in Co. Down

Just the usual ones really ,hun babe, sweetie from random people just puts me off.I wouldn't block someone for saying it tho .

I know I tend to put like at the end of my sentences when speaking and I am sure that annoys some people as well .

Only one that bugged me recently was someone using my fab name in every sentence as if they were reminding me who I was

I'm not keen on pet names from people i don't really know - I find it a bit uncomfortable.

That said I'm deadly for using "my lovely" and "chick"

Pet names are something you use with someone you know. I find them cringy and off putting from someone I don't know.

I use hon in real life but I can't imagine putting it in a message out of habit. I have a habit of saying it not typing it.
