Work..... I have a peach of a job that I love and my bosses are really nice to work for as well.

10 days ago one of them was celebrating a birthday and had me and my co-worker eating birthday cake and drinking champagne at 11.45 am. ..... doesn’t happen often but it was very nice.

I also have my 3 doggies to walk every day.

where the wild roses grow

I'm currently re-landscaping (is that a word) my entire back garden, alot more kayaking, jogging (hate it), dogs, hens, cats, looking after some of the older folk in the area. Started trying my hand at photography and building bird nesting boxes and feeders etc.

All in all kept busy while also working from home

its getting back to vibrant match days, the razzmatazz of the hurling championship. pub for pints, craic with other people, then match, then more pints to reminisk when home. its living life how you want on a continued basis and not how you're told to. its nights out and weekend away with pals living the balls deep lifestyle. loads more. thats if the doom and gloom merchants in Dublin allow any of it return.

So your enjoyment is trying to bring everyone else down is what I genuinely believe at this stage

This is a thread for positive things in the lockdown

.....

Lots of little projects about the house. Quality time with the kids. Trying to learn Irish but failing miserably. I've lived in the same location for 40 years and learned more about it by going on little rambles than I thought I ever would. Turning the house into a smart home and realising how dumb I am by getting confused in doing so. Every day is an opportunity to try something new or learn. Covid is an inconvenience and not the end of the world

Trying out recipes and cooking for others

I cooked dinner last night and the two people (who are in my bubble) were so appreciative of having dinner made for them, and I enjoyed doing it so win win

When the good weather permits, I'm doing some running and a lot of walking. If the weather is crap, exercising indoors.

Lots of tv and streaming stuff.

Buying nicer (or more expensive) food and drink than I might normally go for in ordinary times, as well as enjoying a takeaway at least once a week.

North West, Outer Letterkenny area

I'm perfectly happy in lockdown, I enjoy the nighttime the most just complete quite. I have my own little routine and it's fine. Obviously being single I miss physical contact. But don't miss much else.

I'm living a healthier lifestyle, getting lots of exercise, eating lots of home cooked food, working half time in office and half from home so saving lots of driving and money.

"What are the things that are getting you through at the moment? "

No real change to be honest.. If my life revolved around alcohol and pubs I'd be very annoyed but other than that life is good as it always was..
