Name 2 things only
1)
Listening to Sex on fire on radio driving to work today, at full volume and all I could think of was god how I miss been d*unk jumping around the dance floor in the garavogue ( if you've been there u know it's not easily missed)
2) that time after you've had a marathon sex session and you both lying there, entwined, chatting, touching each other, kissing each other, waiting to get your breath back for round 2 or 5

Garavogue is a favourite spot. Outside it on a sunny day is absolute bliss.
I miss that pre-flight pint after check-in at the boarding gate before heading off abroad for a few days.
I just miss gatherings of friends and family, whether it's in around the fire or out the back BBQing. |

Oh the excitement been in the airport, queueing through security in a panic just in case they may find a random scissors or knife in your hand luggage or pink fluffy handcuffs |

Evenings on the patio after BBQ'ing for friends, everyone chatting and having the craic, good music in the background, a decent beer in hand and kids playing on the lawn.
I can't wait to set a date for one of those at mine again |

I miss having our gang of friends over for a BBQ, the little kids racing around laughing, the big ones giggling upstairs, the beer and wine flowing and food everywhere. Everyone getting d*unk and stuffed full, bribing the teens to tidy up. Bloody love those days.
I also really desperately miss my best friends. Havnt seen them since 2019. |

Small things..
Chatting to the neighbour over the fence on a Saturday.
Foreign travel.. Remember in November of 2019 meeting a friend in Edinburgh and sitting in a packed pub with a roaring fire chatting about rugby.
The build up to Christmas sitting in having lunch, listening to the Christmas music and getting into the Christmas spirit.
Sex. The butterflies an hour before a play meet... Arriving at a hotel a little earlier and the anticipation of what is to come.
Bringing my girls to the cinema, McDonald's for the occasional treat, them meeting their friends, cousins etc and seeing them crash out at the end of a summers day exhausted ftom being out running around.
Its amazing what we took fir granted before but which we'll appreciate far more when this is over |

I miss being able to see my son and my granson. Hug them both. Play with my grandson making him laugh out loud.
Secondly I miss, sitting having a coffee. Catch a lady's eye. Exchange a smile, imagine all the what ifs. |

I think everyone will appreciate things so much more when we are over covid( we gotta live in hope it’s sooner ) I promise I won’t give out to my youngest for taking her clothes shopping and getting annoyed over her not choosing something I long for the days taking her out. Meeting friends and above it all meeting family hugging without worrying. The little things in life are the most important we all took for granted ohhh and a good haircut and colour too |

"Covid has taking away soo much my Nan has dementia and my dad can’t go to see her in the U.K. it’s robbed him as her dementia has gotten worse the last year and he can’t go it’s heartbreaking "
It really is stories like this that is the truly heartbreaking side of this pandemic that doesn't get the same focus in the media as case numbers and positivity rate!
Heartbreaking

Is there not any way to get him over to visit her? Sure that must be allowed to be considered essential travel as the longer he leaves it, her condition may get worse
Heart goes out to everyone in similar postion that can't be with their families for such a long time |
