"The West Wing
Love political drama "
I'd highly recommend 'Scandal' if so! Or just anything by Shonda Rhimes to be fair.
Outside of the obvious shows I'd say 'Dexter', up until season five, for me is a personal favourite, Ohpee! |

Taboo, Banshee, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Homeland,Sons of Anarchy! They're in no particular order but my favourite would be homeland by a tiny margin. The Wire was excellent but found it to be quite depressing! |

"Sopranos and Breaking Bad were good but didn't live up to the hype. Sons of Anarchy turned into a comedy show and couldn't be taken seriously the moment they set foot in Northern Ireland. "
3 times I’ve tried to watch breaking bad and I’ve never got passed the second season. What’s all the hype about? |

Buffy is my favourite of all time. Dexter is my second but as Pete said I also finish it at the 5th season.
Loved The Wire too, the fourth season, typically a weak season in long running shows, was outstanding.
Only watched the 4th season of The Crown having grown up in the Diana/Thatcher era and found it amazing, can’t wait to watch it again.

Some of the old stuff on BBC and ITV was very good
Prime Suspect
Morse
Cracker
The Sweeney
Edge of the seat stuff that if you missed an episode you were fecked the next day because everyone was talking about them....no spoiler alerts in those days
Has anyone watched these in the last few years
Have they aged well

Peep Show or Always Sunny in Philadelphia I have rewatched several times. |

Breaking Bad - maybe a bit drawn out in parts as someone else mentioned but nevertheless a great series.
Very few mentions of Peaky Blinders which surprises me - I think it is excellent. |

Tjena Storage box with lid, grey multicolour/paper32x35x32 cm.
I've been watching it on IKEA Store for some time now, but still €4.50 a piece.
I'm saving up to get the whole set. |

I watched Band of Brothers but never really got into it, which us strange cos I love WW2 stuff. I'll try it again if I ever get the telly to myself again.
We both watched Sons of Anarchy, it was a bit OTT at times but the Irish episodes were diabolical. Some writers & directors need to travel a bit more to broaden their minds.
Still trying to get through the Sopranos
Prison Break was probably my favourite.
Downton Abbey would be G's favourite. |

If you enjoy spy thrillers, and don't mind subtitles, check out The Bureau (or Le Bureau des Légendes to give its proper title).
Absolutely blowing my mind right now and i can't stop watching it. Strange to think i'd never heard of it a few weeks ago. Do yourself a favour and check it out |

3 of my favourites here. Loved the wire and I'm currently rewatching it.
Yet to see the shield but heard good things.
Band of brothers and the ozarks are excellent too.
Didn't really enjoy breaking bad that much tbh |
