Yes the were english league champions 19 . Times .only man united have won more . As for the champions league. It was once a straight knockout competition as not that many in it . It was called European cup . . So they haven't won the now champions league that many times . Back then aston villa. Nottingham forest .celtic.man utd .. all won the European cup..... |

You can pretty much write off anything shitterpool did pre Premier league.. The old league in the 80s was a poor cousin of the Premier league which was a step up in class.. Pre Premier league was akin to championship football that's why shitterpool were champions so much it was all too easy for them back them but reality is finally here now |

When Kelleher is bang average and concedes the goals he has conceded when getting a chance in the first team no one comments because, he's just that, bang average and no one expects any better. Destined for a career in the lower leagues or at best to remain a second or third choice keeper with a big club. |

That's because they are supported from the ground up. In celtic tiger days there was better investment from private sector. Hopefully it will happen in the future that Ireland could have a big club in Dublin and retain our talent |

Kabak looked not too shabby at all, one for the future? Time will tell.
Compare his performance to that of Upamecano at the other end who they were heavily linked with and the money involved before he opted for Bayern. His distribution was shambolic under pressure. Dodged an expensive one there. |

He's a professional footballer, I doubt any of that enters his head when he's on the pitch doing what he does. If it does, then he's not up to the task.
As for Henderson, it's only 3 or 4 years ago since so called Liverpool fans were highly critical of his place in the starting 11 and his lack of creativity. He came in for major stick.

But mane was the man tormented the whole Leipzig defence all night. Then Salah was taken off towards the end to help shore up the right side and bring someone one who would track back. |

Apparently he was a shoe in for balon d'or 3 years ago, there was outrage on Merseyside when he didn't win it.
Last night, your local Derby, they can twist the knife with your home losing streak, they have a chance to go level on points with a game on hand, your qualification for champions league next season is under threat and even at the expense of them. Some of your team mates are injured and things aren't going well.
Time to step up and show youre the go to man in times of adversity, the man that will make things happen, a leader, a man who is worthy of the hype and not merely a flat track bully, a stat padder and penalty taker, a man who relies on everyone else to put in the hard yards and lay them on a plate for him. Show everyone youre a man that has more in his armoury than simply looking to cut inside onto his left foot everytime. Go on take him on on the outside, beat a man 1 to 1 for a change, put a decent ball into the box for one of your colleagues to return the favour for making you look good each week. Use your right foot!!!
Alas, he was anonymous again when it mattered, as always. He even tried to cut inside onto his left when Digne was already standing inside on his left. But I'm sure he isn't too disheartened mighty Sheffield United (bottom of the league) are on the horizon next weekend to face his wrath. Another great opportunity for padding out those statistics presents. |

This team doesnt have a patch on that Arsenal and Man utd team of late 90s early 00s..pretenders is all they are.. Man City took a break last year and Liverpool took their chance.. The previous 2 seasons they tried so hard but man City wouldn't let them win then the freak year of covid happened and the freak team of Liverpool won..
