Just an observation, when I first joined up I did not know how this thing worked (probably still don't) Anyway, within 20 minutes of joining I had about 6 messages from blokes who were more than a little interested in meeting - Flattered though I was to receive such attention that's not really my scene and it took me a while to work out the blocking/types of people to meet thing worked.

Just wondering if anyone else found the same? To be honest I'm not actively searching for meets at the moment anyway until I find my feet (yes I know they are at the bottom of my legs) but it seems to me that if I was of the other persuasion I would have no problems

Yeah i had the same issue, when i 1st signed upto fab,an 1 guy in paticular wouldn't take no for an answer, even though i was very polite in telling him i wasn't that way inclined, but then i discovered the profile filters,so stopped that being a problem, but you still occasionaly get supposedly straight couples,or even single females, sayin they l meet you if you play with their boyfriend too,so their is a problem with guys using their girlfriends to play with single guys, people should be more honest with their profiles i think.

shock and horror! you're being approached by someone you're not interested in! lol

as said, use your filters and if they still get through a thanks but no thanks is the way to go. You wouldn't want to just ignore them, as we ladies are told we do all the time!? lol

I am reminded of the joke about the difference between second dates for gay men and lesbians.

What does a lesbian bring to a second date? "Her furniture...."

What does a gay man bring to a second date? "A second date? Whats a second date?"

TBH as I've said in a previous post - there is a certain element of gay men have a fetish for "straight" guys irrespective of how obese, unattractive or mature these "straight" guys happen to be.

It seems something about the novelty of going with someone that identifies as "straight" seems to fire up their engines so to speak.

like i guess a certain element of straight men who behave like pests toward lesbians - ie the lesbian novelty wets their ahem whistles..

don't really get it tbh.

Actually as a bi guy on here I thought it was because I was bi. Don't get me wrong i enjoy the attention and some guys seemed genuine and well verified. What I am really surprised by is number the number of those guys who claim to be straight but hit me up anyway.

I think if you are on a site like fab you should at least be honest with yourself and others about what you are into or want to try. I thought that the point of a site like this was sexual freedom.

are you saying bi/gay guys cannot be attracted, sexualy, to obese, unnatractive (in your opinion) or mature men, no matter what their sexual orientation is?

maybe they fancy them and are 'trying their luck' so to speak.

you seem to have a very narrow view point of what is sexy and not.

Belfast North

Would surprise you (perhaps not) , how many straight men contact me as CDS - and meet, though many have a fantasy and wank instead. Also on my bi profile, how many couples in meets where the make is straight and avoided by me - ends up lunging at me. Therefore I think it's what's happening on the moment and the curiosity that is hidden jumps out so to speak

Not at all, for example on another primarily gay service there was an element who listed their orientation as "straight" usually these types were of a certain age / weight / appearance and it seemed they relied on the "straight" novelty to attract interest and assumed bizarrely because they identified as such they had their pick .

certainly not some sort of hard bodied and bronzed male physique devote don't disagree that others found them attractive irrespective of the factors mentioned above but generally found the men in questions attitudes to be cavalier , obnoxious and presumptuous.
