Coming from a thread I started earlier but couldn't ask this question due to filters
If you still visit or live where you grew up and meet an old flame from your teens or older,do you get flustered and hope you look ok ...or do you not care

I meet a woman I went to primary school with ever so often. Our families knew each other but we never went out or dated.
We always got teased about being friends and we joke about it now.
In fact I know absolutely nothing about her life as our conversation is usually just a quick hello in passing and a " do you remember?" or two. |

Spelling mistakes so I'll try again.
I have moved away but before I did I bumped into my first real boyfriend who I had a whirlwind romance with years ago. I didn't care how I looked or get flustered we had a laugh about those day and went our separate ways. Exs are exs for a reason. |

I’ve met some again and though “glad I avoided that”.....one in particular, I felt a little flutter still and was curious.
Never cared about how I’ve looked, we’re all just people, so we all look great/terrible under different lights. |

Have to be honest i still get flustered
They were mostly just teen romances and exs because thats the way it was ..no fault breakups and nothing serious and I don't live too far from where I grew up so I'd meet one at least every couple of weeks
The ones that meant the most I still go red like a feckin idiot |

I kinda do depends on the ex. If I bump into an ex that hurt me, I want to be looking sharp and have them to remember what they are missing Other exes I wouldn't care and probably just chat away to them

Bite a bullet with my ex boyfriend met him at 16 and went out for 8yrs he got a job and moved away back now the manager of the company my brother works for married 2 kids and about two other women from the company on the go one due a baby anyday...  |

I’m still friendly with ex’s bar one. I would always want to be presentable no matter who I met. Granted I get on with some better than others but would have no problem catching up with any of them well bar that one lol |

Unlike most in here I've only actually got one ex and I've only seen her once since she dumped me in 1984 so the answer would be no I wouldn't get flustered and I couldn't care less what she looks like. |

One particular old flame I still get flustered with and its 12 years on  Infairness I think it's because there was never an end point. We both went travelling to different continents, over the years and would rekindle anytime we crossed paths. |
