So we all went to what we called the pictures/ movies/ flicks depending on your age and where you grew up

Didnt see it at the cinema but uni had a screening of it. If you haven't seen this movie you need to see it. It's the best worst movie  |

Very graphic scene but shows how survival instinct keeps you alive and the impact it has on a person just after the event. Even more powerful because it was a true story |

I'll go with the kurb scene from American History X but I'm not posting a link to it because I don't want to do that to inflict it upon anyone. That most versions of the film don't include this scene anymore speaks of its brutality and the extreme violence of far right groups.
But it fits the title, it's stuck with me |
