Social media would be easy....internet not so much. With messaging/banking/work being online I think I’d struggle -especially now in lockdown.

Still love having a tech free weekend, and just being out at a campsite with no distractions.

Social media no problem at all, Internet is a bit more difficult for practical purposes but yes and have done in the past. And got surprisingly productive.

Social media no problem.

No internet would be very difficult though. I love reading various newspapers/magazines from countries across the continent on a daily basis.

Imagine a world without the internet

It's used to run so many everyday things that we take for granted

Sure BM us fifties managed happily the first 20 years of our lifes without it. Instead of sticking to a screen we robbed orchards, listen to the hit parade on the radio every Sunday and had the odd spliff. Nothing wrong with us.

Not forgetting to have the tape recorder ready to tape the top Ten countdown

The problem is now the genie is well and truly out of the bottle

Fab wouldn't be the same using a Nokia 3310

social media no problem. theyre a toxic wasteground at the best of times. Internet would be much harder with the kids schooling, looking up crap for more school projects etc.

Ha, just realised it's been a full month since Jan 6th when the most addicted man in the world went off social media.

If Donald can do it, anyone can.

Ya have closed all my social media accounts for a break every now and than. Think longest I took break for was 6 weeks. I've also unfollowed and unfriended people on my accounts. Try and keep it to people that I interact with

Yes, i have done it in the past. I dont have good Internet where I live, so it's absence wouldn't be a problem. I'd find other things to do to keep me busy.

Social media can be a force for good also so not all doom and gloom

I have extended family all over the world and it helps up stay in touch

I've used it to trace 2 people missing for over 60 years and reunited them both with family they never even knew they had in one case.

One went from having no parents or family to having two half sisters and a half brother

Dont forget clinging to a radio waiting to record your fav tune and giving out loads if the DJ talked over it lol spending hours then putting your fav songs on a tape to have in the car , TDK made a fortune

If I didn’t have work and wanted a challenge I’d give it a good lash. I play music and like reading too so I might last a couple of weeks at least

Nope. I use social media for professional promotion and would not be able to stop it. And honestly I like dipping in and out as my day allows to see what's happening
