Must be just you.
Boylan hasn't been no where as nutty or as racist as Gemma has been, so I think that is truly unfair.
True enough he tries to give people with different views and opinions on his show, but has also stated that he will be taking the vaccine as soon as it is his turn.
I would go as far as saying that he is giving better coverage then the likes of rté, in bringing up other health, physical and mental issues. |

If you want to take the snitches get stitches thing literally that's up to you. But maybe those same people who are quick to report to the guards would be the same people who went out to pubs and reported them for having to many people in or not serving food. Only been out twice after it opened up after the first lock down, but there is no way I would be snitching on anyone. |

To be honest with you, I think most media has bullied people into thinking a certain narrative that they have been pushing from the start of it and that is FEAR.
I think boylan has approached the whole thing a bit different then most, even if you agree or disagree with him on some things, you are getting different views from others. Which I find refreshing and a bit more honest at times. Relating the bullying thing with the snitches get stitches is more to do with your mind, but I can't see how a saying means that he is actually going to go out and bully some one. |

I'm not saying that what I'm saying is that a person who says he is an advocate against bullying is basically telling people who are being bullied that if they tell on said bully snitches get stitches. No matter what he says about wherever or whoever the comment was made an advocate against bullying should not be using that term at any point in time |

Lad you're way too vague with your statement.
The person being bullied - are they being told to stand up for themselves or are they being told to report it so somebody? And who is that somebody - their boss? Their ma? That's NOT snitching.
In my opinion, snitching is when you report somebody to the LAW. ie the gardaí, and the person you snitched on will have a record.
I'll ask a third time: When Niall Boylan speaks about anti-bullying, is he encouraging the victims to report the bullys to the LAW?
If yes - you can call him two faced
If not - you can probably still hate him anyway

I don't really have an answer for you there, if you can't separate the bullying and lockdown, which are 2 different issues. No point trying to get you to see that by using the phrase snitches get stitches, while talking about lockdowns, he was basically only saying he doesn't agree with people telling the guards on people who didn't obey with lockdown rules.

You're linking to completely different topics together that shouldn't be linked. One is about people reporting others for flouting lockdown rules, the other is about bullying, which I doubt he would have said that. If you have proof, that he said that while he was talking about bullying, then you would have a valid point. But to keep lumping the 2 issues together, is a bit disingenuous and pointless. is there something wrong in your head do you understand this for a person who is being bullied they have to tell on said bully for the bullying to stop and you have an advocate who says that he is anti bullying saying snitches get stitches.
Less of the insults 'is there something wrong in your head', that may come across as bullying. I'm a big lad and try bullying me you would come out a lot worse than I would. And I have never bullied anyone in my life if anything bullies suffered at our hands
I don't really have an answer for you there, if you can't separate the bullying and lockdown, which are 2 different issues. No point trying to get you to see that by using the phrase snitches get stitches, while talking about lockdowns, he was basically only saying he doesn't agree with people telling the guards on people who didn't obey with lockdown rules.
he is basically saying live on air its OK bully people into not reporting someone for breaking the law by say if you snitch expect to be hurt now if that is not condoning bullying I don't know what is
