tbf, its nice in some way, that the country isnt as forward as some places in europe, it really is, and thats coming from someone from the UK.
makes a nice change.
it is peoples attitudes that are stopping things like this happening, and, like it or not, those that enjoy their sexuality and want to enjoy it with others, are STILL in the minority.
the vast majority of people that want to enjoy their sexuality with other people still do so behind their partners backs (everywhere, not just ireland)
will take a couple of generations until the prevelance of the church in communities is so strong, then you may see them springing up in places.
mind, im almost certain there is a swing friendly club in dublin. |

other members host occasional get togethers at either hotels or their place of residences.. so not entirely true.
it terms of commercial ventures that capitalise on the swinging niche, they don't exist on the island of Ireland but other members seem to be "filling the gap" using their own initiative. |

"its against our religion to have swinger clubs, were mostly catholic...lol"
wouldn't attribute the lack of commercial ventures that cash in on the swinging niche to that alone.. after all abortion clinics / swinging clubs exist in the hq country of the above mentioned organized religion Italy (although it holds a separate sovereignty / constitution from the rest of Italy) much more to do with island or Ireland culture than any specific religion. |

How many if us are actually practising catholics lol last time i looked mass attendance is at an all time low. Might be because most of us are too shagged out from saturday nights.
Back to topic we are backward in a sense. God forbid if you have a exploratory sex life in this country or even worse be a swinger on this island.
Jinx i hope the club is doing well. Nice to see some sorta advancement in this area in ireland. |
