Road biker here missing the racing but enjoying the time on the bike with out having to hit numbers. Done many a week in the French alpes can't wait to go back. Great holiday.

There are excellent MTB trails in Gosford Forest, but no downhill.

Possibly worth a try, though.

Road cyclist here, although did a lot of mountain biking during the 90's while I was living in the UK. I still have my well used retro Specialized M2.

There has been slot of felling of trees up there and more to come. It'll be the last of it though as they are going to protect the area now with natural trees.

Horrible to see it the way it is now though.

Ravensdale brilliant natural trails

Big wood is pretty good

Slieve Bloom Mountains my favourite

Djouce Woods nice and steep technical stuff

So much more amazing places in Ireland

Love when I get a chance to go
